About

Egea, the publishing house owned by Bocconi University, was established in 1988 with the aim of documenting and disseminating the economic and managerial knowledge developed at the academic level. Over the years, it has progressively broadened its mission, offering students, professionals, practitioners, and decision-makers effective tools for in-depth learning and continuous development.
Through its essay series, Egea seeks to contribute meaningfully to the discourse in the social sciences, publishing high-quality works of both national and international relevance that remain accessible to a broad readership.

Egea publishes under two distinct imprints: Egea and BUP (Bocconi University Press).

BUP - Bocconi University Press

The aim of the imprint is to promote the circulation and fruitful exchange of ideas between Italian and international authors, fostering the dissemination and sharing of knowledge and expertise developed within the Italian context.

This commitment is reinforced by collaboration with partners in higher education, lifelong learning, and the broader communication of research. On this foundation, the BUP series includes two main categories of publications: Academic and Higher Education (comprising monographs, research works, and textbooks) and Trade (general non-fiction titles).

This website features all English-language titles published under the BUP® imprint. You can also explore our catalogue of Italian-language books here.
